Sold!! Koetsu Package

I have acquired a classic Koetsu SA-1100D MKII tonearm, in the box, with all fittings, fluid damping, screws, headshell, cable, with not even a mark on the headshell. In addition to the fluid damping, it also has on-the-fly VTA set into the base.

To match to it, I also have a used but still excellent Koetsu Black Goldline phono cartridge, a truly excellent MC with far greater capabilities than is normally reported (perhaps because they are not set up on idler-wheel drives).

The tonearm alone can go as high as $2000, especially in this condition, and the Koetsu Black Goldline, used, normally goes for $900-$1100. If bought with either a Classic Lenco MKII or a Reference Lenco MKII, or any form of Garrard 301 rebuild (which I have here for rebuilding), I will ask only $2000 for the tonearm and cartridge together.

Now, I had planned building a special Classic Lenco MKII for it; but I can indeed mount it to a Reference Lenco MKII, as it is not always about ultimate performance (and in any case a Reference Lenco MKII will raise it up to very great heights), but sometimes about amazing music-making abilities and pride of ownership.
