Hello Jean,
I just wanted to follow up and share with you that the seafoam green Classic Lenco that you sold to me is an amazing turntable, easily the best that I have ever heard in my home. This is coming from someone who has owned a couple of turntables that are rated “Class A” and “10 out of 10″. I have a strong feeling that this beautiful and massive turntable that you created is going to be in my listening room for a long, long time.
I have had this wonderful ‘table for about a month now. What strikes me most about the Classic Lenco is that the bass is very textured, rich, and deep. Following the bass notes of a song has been quite addicting to me. There is such a solid foundation to my music. Because of this excellent bass quality, the soundstage in my system seems to be more expansive and immersive.
This is not to say that the bass overwhelms the middle and upper ranges of the music, as the Classic Lenco is very coherent from top to bottom. I have another re-plinthed Lenco which has a hefty and pleasing sound to the bass, but the bass somewhat dominates the highs and midrange. With my other ‘table, I heard the potential for greatness, so I took a chance with your Lenco. I felt after reading about your ‘tables that I could have it all – the lows, the highs, and everything in between. With the seafoam green “special edition” Classic Lenco, I indeed now have the most coherent and detailed sounding turntable that I have ever owned, with the biggest soundstage and world class imaging that is made clear and full as if spotlights were shining on the performers. Thank you Jean for such a great addition to my system!
