Reference Lenco MKII, delivered to Salvatore December 2012 for Review

It has now been almost three years since I purchased the “original” Reference Lenco, and heard it in my own system (February 2010 Review/Essay). During this period, at least until now, I’ve heard only one change (and subsequent improvement), when the internal spring was exchanged for a hanging weight (in 2011). This “TJN Mod” has already been discussed on this website. This time, for the MK. II, an entire series* of improvements were made, even including a new idler-wheel replacement, which was custom built for Jean Nantais, who is responsible for the overall design and manufacture of the Reference Lenco (MK. II).
